Founder of France à la Carte, Sylvie has successfully led the company since its inception and works with a network of long-standing partners and providers.

Dylan

Sylvie’s son is carrying forward this legacy, steering the company with the same core values and principles established by his mother, while evolving and adapting to meet the demands of today’s travel landscape

Elodie

A seasoned professional in the tourism industry, Elodie has been with us since 2021. She oversees sales in France and spearheads the development of our Slow Tourism offerings in the Occitanie region.

Sylvie Butler

Sylvie Butler has extensive experience in the tourism industry, having previously served as Director of Sales and Human Resources at USIT Connections, one of Ireland’s largest travel companies. She then went on to found and manage ASHLING tour operator for more than seven years.

In 2004, she turned her focus to her native country, France, and founded the destination management company France à la Carte, where she has served as owner and director ever since. Specializing in tailor-made tours that highlight French wine, gastronomy and cultural experiences, Sylvie is known for her reliability and strong, long-term relationships with both clients and providers.

Sylvie views France à la Carte as not just a DMC, but a family business. She believes in the adaptability and resilience of smaller organizations in the ever-changing tourism industry.

Sylvie now works alongside her son, Dylan, to create new products and services that prioritize sustainability and eco-tourism, all while maintaining the high standards she has always championed. Her commitment to quality has cemented France à la Carte’s reputation for offering exceptional tours in France.
